Millwall's top goal scorer Gary Alexander has put pen to paper on a lucrative two-year contract extension that will keep the striker at the Den until 2011.
The Kennington goal-machine has been an integral part of the frontline this season as the target-man and spearhead, as well as bagging thirteen goals.
He is said to be delighted to have tied up the deal with his boyhood club after a topsy-turvy first two seasons since his move from East London rivals Leyton Orient.
Millwall managing director Andy Ambler told the 'News': "The club is pleased Gary has signed and he is a big part of the manager's plans. "He and Andy Frampton were two of the three players that fans voted for as their best player and both were out of contract. We have signed both for another two years and it is important for the stability of the club going forward to secure the services of its better players."
