THREE LOCAL FIRMS IN AWARD FINALS

THE RBS South London Business Awards 2009 are heading towards a successful conclusion, with 52 different organisations shortlisted across eleven categories - and with three of them based in Southwark.

Launched in September at the Brit Oval, the awards showcase and reward businesses ranging from one-person operations to companies employing hundreds of people; from firms whose clients are drawn from the local community to those with international customers. The finalists have been drawn from entrants across the twelve boroughs south of the Thames in London.
In Southwark, the finalists are:

BOOGLES LTD

Boogles Ltd is a bookkeeping service founded by an award-winning entrepreneur.
The company, based in Elephant and Castle, works with small businesses / owner managers who have a problem with their paperwork and receipts. Boogles goes in on site and takes care of the problem  - entering receipts, processing payments and reconciling the bank account. Boogles will undertake bookkeeping off-site (around the UK), or on the client's site if they are based within the M25 Greater London region. The company also runs various bookkeeping courses from approximately every six weeks, depending on demand. The one-day courses are an ideal way to learn new bookkeeping skills, and to brush up knowledge. They are aimed at those wishing to start a bookkeeping career, those who currently do their own books, and those who are doing bookkeeping, but perhaps wish to pick up a new package.

VUTURE

Vuture delivers a range of technology and marketing solutions to professional service, business service and financial service companies.
